The business development manager (BDM) is often the first point of contact a
new potential client will have with a business when they are seeking
information on the products and services the company provides. The BDM also
responds to RFP's, tenders, and develops sales in new sales territories.
Build and maintain profitable relationships with key customers.
* Oversee the relationship with customers handled by.
* Enlarge the corporate database customer focusing on the company level.
* Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently.
* Keep customers updated on the latest products to increase sales.
* Expand the customer base by upselling and cross-selling as well as providing assistance in satisfying those needs and meeting or surpassing customers' expectations
* Understand key customer individual needs and address their needs also Collaborating with the team members and departments to optimize the sales effort
* Conduct business reviews.
* Know your competition and strategies accordingly.
* Present, promote and sell services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
* Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
* Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
* Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
* Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
* Address customers' queries about products, prices, availability, product uses, and services
