Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to build +/ strengthen relationships, identify
needs and enhance opportunities with key accounts (schools, universities,
corporates etc) to meet business related targets. The role is also required
proactively resolve issues, add value and ensure delivery on expectations.
This role provides proactive business pursuit in international schools sector.
On a daily basis the role executes the country key account strategy and plan.


Main Opportunities:
* Build relations with new potential British Council partners/clients/accounts
* Resolve issues, add value and ensure delivery on expectations to client satisfaction
* Wins business for British Council English & Exams
* Understand, foresee and flag country conditions or market insight to spot and act on opportunities
* Providing timely feedback on commercial planning scenario's that have changed
* Achieving sales/ account targets and ensure customer satisfaction


Main Accountabilities:
Winning business
* Adds value to key accounts and looks at opportunities for retention through cross-sell and other initiatives
* Flags and addressed performance issues in delivery and proactively seeks solution for an amicable resolution
* Monitors capacity and drives up/pull forward B2B2C sales to fill capacity
* Practices Relationship Management, development and reviews (including mapping and delivering F2F touch-points, annual and quarterly reviews for big accounts)
* Builds and develops networks around existing clients to cultivate segments
* Developing and managing pipeline of new schools seeking UK curriculum through organic channels.
* Developing and managing pipeline of new schools through proactive business pursuit.


Account and stakeholder management
* Manages and delivers in year Account Plan
* Develops out of year Account Plan
* Links with B2B support from Operations team to set and review quality of delivery to support account relationship.
* Links with Marketing for targeted events, campaigns and collateral to support retention and value add
* Works to defined Account Relationship standards and frameworks, including an up-to-date records on relevant CRM system
* Prioritises own work activities, from long terms plans into day to day activities.
* Builds relationships and uses influence to work with others internally to grow the business


Market and customer intelligence
* Ensures product/sector knowledge is up to date and forward thinking
* Provides account/country specific input into market intelligence activities, innovation and business development/marketing plan/targets
* Collects and shares trends and insights within market developments


Analysis & reporting
* Using standard procedures and templates, regularly records, analyses and reports on operational activity levels and performance data, to support senior managers in making timely and effective business decisions that respond to operational needs.

Examinations, Country Director, Customer Services, Finance and Resources
teams; Exams Regional Management Team, school exams global team


External
(B2B) partners, schools, UK awarding bodies, Ministry of education, non-UK
international schools, universities, education agents, as well as the
government and corporate sectors.


About You (essential requirements for the role):
* University Degree in any subject or ‎3 years of relevant working experience
* Experience of working with UK exam boards or familiarity with school exams, and different schools educational systems
* Experience of working with international schools educational systems
* Collecting & responding to client/stakeholder feedback and identifying needs
* Insight on schools or higher education markets in Egypt
* Relationship building experience with external stakeholders and account management
* Presentation Skills
* Fluent written & spoken English C1
* Arabic Speaker


Desirable:
* Masters in Business Administration
* Experience of designing & implementing business development or marketing plans in an education sector context.
* Identifying ways in which services can be improved, and taking these forward

* Pay Band: Grade ‎6/G
* Location: Egypt
* Requirements: This role is open for Egyptian and UK nationals because of some VISA restrictions in the country
