Jazeera Airways is currently looking for a Cargo Supervisor to assist in
managing the Cargo business and ensuring that the cargo is transported safely
in an efficient and secured manner.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Ensure high utilization of cargo loading on all Jazeera flights
* Perform follow up activities on any cargo irregularities and mishandling
* Assist customers with all the information related to cargo bookings and forwardings
* Maintain database and produce reports as required for cargo management to review
* Monitor and work towards execution of established key performance indicators
* Build and maintain strong working relationship with assigned department and other internal/ external stakeholders for process efficiencies
* Ensure reliable customer service delivery and on time performance at all times
* Participate in development of new business cases for operational performance enhancement program
* Ensure that company's standards are implemented and maintained at an agreed service level of quality and compliance
* Responsible for investigation of critical incident/ accident, operational constraints, supporting department manager in resolution of service deficiencies in timely manner
* Assist the department manager for cargo operations safety and security
* Perform any other tasks assigned by the management
* Provide support for the cargo network with current and future growth and strategies
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in cargo operations
* Special trainings in Cargo handling, DGR, Ramp handling, Safety, AVSEC
* Excellent working knowledge of the airside and cargo operations
* Good understanding of DGCA and other airport authorities' activities and regulations
* Dangerous Goods Training - (IATA DG CAT 6)
* Have sound knowledge of cargo documentation procedure
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Excellent Interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills
