The opportunity where you will make an impact:
We have a clearly laid down strategic plan that supports our ambition to grow
our revenues by 4x across the region of South Asia, Middle East, Africa &
Turkey. With this growth rate comes significant and rapid change, both
structurally and system capability. The incumbent must be able to effectively
lead in such an environment of scale-up and pace of change.


As part of this role, Business Development Manager is responsible for building
the Route to Market in each market of Africa. This role will also focus on
building new channels of sales in Africa continent namely Specialty, Pharmacy,
Gyms, etc. The candidate needs to have a sound understanding of managing Trade
Spends & deliver business profitability for the region while staying focused
on growth objectives.
* Deliver the Annual Topline in line with company objectives
* Deliver the growth ambition along with category share as part of Business KPIs
* Lead the Route - To - Market expansion in each market and build new channels (Pharmacy, Gyms, etc.) as part of the Mid / Long Term Strategy to drive higher store penetration
* Build and monitor the Sales and Distribution KPIs of the Distribution Partners to achieve Annual Operative Plans
* Track and Monitor ROI of spends (Activity - Cost - ROI model) on trade and customer marketing activities
* Partner closely with finance and SC team on demand forecasting to enable better serviceability in trade and drive overall operational efficiency
* Prepare and present the monthly performance as part of the MBR (Monthly Business Review) to Leadership Team
* Build a mechanism to capture & timely share Competition Information & GPN Market Share


What you will bring to GPN:
* ‎5 - ‎7 years'+ experience in a lead sales role preferably within FMCG categories. MBA preferred.
* Experience of working in a high growth and fast-paced organization
* Persistent and resilient in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take new challenges
* Ability to work with ambiguity and in an entrepreneurial environment
* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with retailers and distributors
* Effective influencing, negotiating and relationship building skills together with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Numbers and data savvy with experience of sales automation to monitor business performance
