Business Development Manager
Honeywell is looking for a Business Development Managed based in Cairo, Egypt.
The Business Development Manager will be the front-line seller who drives
sales, identifying and generating opportunities for different kinds of
customers. They will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular
customer contact and managing customer expectations and will further develop
customer relationships through coordinating and/or attending trade shows,
seminar, and similar events.

Key Responsibilities



  • Achieve product line AOP orders with planned linearity and strong MOS

  • Support to develop a strong high performing team of PMC in country

  • Execute growth strategy for product line of Modular Solutions including -- new account development, geographic expansion, segment strategies.

  • Provide technical and business development support to channels and System Integrators and help channels & SI to offer the right offering to the customers/end users.

  • Provide presales and post-sales support to resolve product line related internal challenges and drive customer satisfaction by escalations / resolutions (P&E, Order management, customer care, service, lead times, pricing, sourcing, ISC, etc)

  • Position cross PMC portfolio where possible.

  • Support the account manages to develop overall pipeline to 3x of orders target including for NPI, with focus on adjacent verticals including Water, Wastewater, Cements, Food & Beverage, Mining & Minerals, Pulp and Paper. O&G shall also be supported.

  • Drive product line specific growth initiatives in participation with global marketing

  • Pricing control to maximize profitability.

  • Conducting demand generation activities for product line in conjunction with sales & marcom (campaigns, roadshows, lunch & learns, events, seminars, etc.)

  • Monitor product line specific competitive, market, NPI and win loss trends for agile corrective actions to grow market share.

  • Help resolve technical issues with orders clarifications, revenue as needed.
    Ensure that the sales channels to the market, both direct & indirect, are
    fully capable to deliver this value proposition effectively to the customers.



Qualifications



  • BS or BA or BE Degree - Preferred in: Engineering, Automation, Technology or Business (or equivalent knowledge / experience in these fields).

  • ‎7+ years working with front end customer facing roles including technical / engineering with at least ‎2/‎3 years in sales support role, with expertise in Automation solution offering.

  • Strong product line (multiple products including PLC/RTU/SCADA/DCS/SIS/FG'S solutions) and industry knowledge (O &G / Water / Mining/Pulp Paper/Cements/Power gen)

  • Experience planning, developing and executing sales campaigns or programs in specific markets or for specific products.

  • Hands on CRM, SAP and various other tools

  • Ability to work in matrix and environment of management by influencing.

  • Strong growth mindset

  • Proven technical and business development skills in handling key new accounts with clear and demonstrable results.

  • Ability to lead change and establish metrics/key indicators.

  • Broad knowledge of PMC Modular Solutions offering and in general over all PMC offering.

  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills, at all levels of the organization.
    Ability to travel ‎60%. Area of covering including Egypt, North Africa, and
    Saudi Arabia.
