Founded in Florence in ‎1860 as a workshop, shop and subsequently school of
watch-making, for many decades Panerai supplied the Italian Navy and its
specialist diving corps in particular with precision instruments.The designs
developed by Panerai in that time, including the Luminor and Radiomir, were
covered by the Military Secrets Act for many years and were launched on the
international market only after the brand was acquired by the Richemont Group
in ‎1997.
Today Panerai develops and crafts its movements and watches at its Neuchatel
manufacture. The latter are a seamless melding of Italian design flair and
history with Swiss horological expertise. Panerai watches are sold across the
world through an exclusive network of distributors and Panerai boutiques.

MAIN PURPOSE


In line with Maisons long-term strategy, Business Development Manager will be
responsible to develop and implement the Maisons strategy in the KSA market -
including sales and operations, local execution, overlooking marketing
communication, client acquisition & client development, people management and
real estate to reach the Maison's business and financial objectives to develop
brand equity in KSA.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Retail and Wholesale Network




  • Implement and manage BTQ, multi-brand and travel retail strategy for the country, in line with local objectives and international guidelines



  • Bring forward leadership to motivate local team and create unique experience

  • Manage retail growth (organic and possible expansion)


  • Initiate action plans to develop and upgrade local clientele




  • Business Development




  • Define network strategy and recommend marketing action plan in collaboration with the regional teams to achieve sales objectives



  • Propose annual budget and set sales targets

  • Establish strong relationships with partners in an omnichannel approach and manage locally

  • Develop Boutique, wholesale and travel retail growth and business development in the country

  • Conduct real estate market research & gather competitive intelligence

  • Identify strategic opportunities for new boutiques and POS and build the related business case

  • Monitor boutique performance and propose action plan on how to achieve quantitative and qualitative KPIs.

  • Ensure regular reports are submitted accurately and timely

  • Identify, develop and manage the VIP clients together with the Commercial team


  • Ensure retail and customer service excellence in after sales service




  • Marketing and Communication Strategy




  • Work hand in hand with the regional marketing team to develop a local communication strategy to recruit, develop and build the Maisons equity in the market.




  • Monitor efficiency of the communication activities




  • Oversee the implementation of local events plan ensuring best execution and image for the Maisons




  • Team Management



  • Oversee recruitment and building of the teams

  • Coach, mentor and support the development of the local team.

  • Set clear objectives and evaluate performance

  • Motivate the team to achieve better results


PROFILE



  • Min. ‎10 years experience in commercial roles, preferably in luxury retail

  • Strong knowledge of Saudi retail business & culture

  • Good understanding of retail operations, marketing& communications and digital trends

  • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills

  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree from a reputable university

  • Experience using MS Office pack

  • Fluent in Arabic and English
