Job Description:
Due to continued growth in the MEA region, Huntsman are now establishing a new
Sales Office in Dammam and are looking for an ambitious Business Development
Manager to join our Performance Products division in driving business growth
across Saudi and Bahrain.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Business "Middle East & Africa", this is an
individual contributor role focused on developing our products in the
Industrial Coating, Adhesives & Energy applications (Fuel & Lubes) markets
with an opportunity to drive diversification within Water treatment and
Agrochemicals.
Requirements:
* Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related disciplines with prior experience in a business development role.
* Ambitious individual with the ability to progress into more senior roles in a high growth area of Huntsman's Performance Products Business.
* Demonstratable track record of identifying and developing new business opportunities in line with Huntsman's growth strategy.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with prior experience in value selling techniques
* High levels of team effectiveness with the ability to contribute to cross functional groups involving, Marketing, Technical Service, Supply Chain and Customer Service
* Previous experience in key account management and maximising market share in existing customer bases.
* Fluency in Arabic & English is a must
Additionally, as Business Development Manager, you will:
* Maintain company standards regarding safety and compliance whilst promoting Huntsman's corporate principals and company values in all areas of your work.
* Act as a growth & development champion by exceeding annual volume & margin targets - Identify, penetrate & develop profitable market/growth in KSA in the Industrial Coating, Adhesives & Energy industry using value selling principles according to the HPP strategy.
* Gather and use market, technology and competitor intelligence to provide insight to Regional Market Manager to support the development of strategic marketing plans and to formulate and guide R&D projects
* Understand customer needs, identify Huntsman products or services to meet those needs and make recommendations including where appropriate initiation of development projects
* Develop relationships with customers in the region to introduce Huntsman products and new technologies, in close cooperation with Middle East & Africa Manager
* Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure that reliable management information and forecasts are produced and reported in consolidated sales forecasts (C4C)
* Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives. Manage customer expectation and lead them to superior customer satisfaction
* Assist customers' technical requests and Align with Technical Team for development & troubleshooting
* Work with Marketing and Technical Departments to develop and maintain a high level of market intelligence in your defined applications & markets.
