LWF has been in Iraq since ‎2014, calling on internally displaced people, host
communities and Syrian refugees. It is implementing projects in the Kurdistan
Region of Iraq, particularly in Dohuk Governorate, and in late ‎2016/early
‎2017, LWF Iraq expanded its activities to include the neighboring areas of the
Nineveh Plain after its liberation from ISIS, through local partners. The
target population includes community members who remained and survived the
ISIS occupation, IDPs who fled but are now returning to their homes.
Scope of Work:

The LWF Driver will ensure that LWF Iraq staff are driven to LWF Iraq working
areas every day. While in office, he/she make sure of existence in offce
during working time and to be ready for any duties given to him/her by
supervisor, as well as supporting logistic team in car maintenance and looking
after LWF vehicles.

Responsibilities:
* A Provide transportation for all employees of LWF office and visitors when requested.
* Be available at all times during the day to take staff where they need to go and if they need to leave office and fields urgently, must be available
* To be available in weekends and off days if needed

Service Vehicle Mainenance Management
* Ensure all vehicle maintenance services are carried out in accordance with set service schedules and checklist duly signed and completed.
* Undertake all repair work assaigned proparely to meet set standards in readiness for travel and continouosly monitor condition of each vehicle assigned to and promptly report to the logistics senior officer in case of any damages , accidents and incidents.
* Fuelling, Oil changing, pre-travel checks, travel docs, vehicle expenses cross border docs and any other docs and preson traveling for packing instructions and timings.
* Ensure copies of daily mileage logs, pen and clipboars are readily available all the vehicles assaigned to.
* Ensure sound running of the vehicles assigned and arrange minor repairs where necessary

Professional Standards:
* The LWF and LWF workers must adhere to the values and principles outlined in the Code of Conduct.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver; holds a certificate in automobile mechanics as an added advantage


• Valid professional driver’s license


• Good driving record with no traffic violations


• Ability to maintain performance expectations in diverse cultural contexts, psycholocically stressful environments, and physical hardship conditions with limited resources.

Skills:
* Good interpersonal and team building skills
* Experience working with other NGOs and local partners
* Fluency in Arabic and Kurdish , good knowledge of English
* Punctuality
