A Sales Manager within Waldorf Astoria Kuwait effectively demonstrates the

What will I be doing?
Essential to the successful performance of this position. Represents the hotel
in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while
maintaining existing relationships with assigned accounts while consistently
striving to maximize revenue in rooms, public space, food and beverage and
ancillary products.
Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team
Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
Participate in hotel promotional activities
Support the Director of Sales (DOS) in preparation and drawing up of company
contracts for the hotels in accordance with the 3rd Party Distribution policy,
current business strategy and price / market conditions.
Generation of leads for the hotels, monitoring of offers and being actively
involved in the follow up process to increase conversion in close cooperation
with the C &B and Reservation departments.
Fulfilment of all necessary administrative work accurately and preparation of
reports, account forecasts and drawing up of account development plans within
the time frame given.
Achievement of set targets and agreed goals and delivery of incremental
revenue for all hotel.
Ensure high levels of vigilance of the market and competitors and involvement
competitive analysis (rates, trends, customers, product changes) and market
statistics, to be shared with the team and Director of Sales (DOS).
Participate in industry events and represents the hotel at national and
international specialist trade fairs and workshops as agreed by the DOS.
