Novo Nordisk Gulf Cluster is looking for a District Sales Manager for the
Kuwait team to promote Novo Nordisk 's products.


The Position


As a District Sales Manager based in Kuwait, you will represent Novo
Nordisk vision, essential values, and commitments in the daily conduct with
the customers working according to business ethic procedures and local law.
You would proactively manage our key stakeholders in the region within the
frame of sales management. As a people's leader, you will act as a role model
of leadership behaviour and cross-functional cooperation. This position
reports to the GC Sales Director.


Your main accountabilities will be:



  • Building and generating sustainable regional market share by effective execution of sales and marketing plans.

  • Establishing and maintaining effective, cross-functional internal business relationships for successful collaboration.

  • Managing and developing a sales team of a defined geographical district to maximize the existing business potential.

  • Efficiently planning, coordinating, and controlling our sales force activities, as well as sales processes, and you will effectively implement our company strategy, successfully developing, and managing all sales and action plans in order to achieve company goals.

  • Actively taking part in congresses, conferences, and other Sales events.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we require you to have a Pharma or Medical
degree (or related medical field degree) and a minimum of ‎5 years sales
experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Fluency in Arabic and English is an
absolute must.


To be effective in this role, it is mandatory to have:



  • Excellent leadership skills focused on dialogue, communication, collaboration, and motivation.

  • Strong market and customer understanding, as well as excellent knowledge of business processes and competitive dynamics in a changing environment.

  • Kuwait Market Experience is a plus.

Novo Nordisk Gulf Cluster is one of the fastest growing affiliates covering
Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and Yemen, including ‎80 employees spread over
the region. Gulf Cluster Sales Team members are a group of highly engaged,
experienced, and skilled professionals who handle the promotion and marketing
activities of its current product and future portfolio in line with Novo
Nordisk.
