• Handle incoming reservations received through all sales channels and ensure that a confirmation is received within 24hrs


• Input all reservations into the system (PMS) recording all pertinent information as per standards established.


• Attend to enquiries, complaints and requests regarding reservations.


• Handle special and additional guest request and coordinate with other departments.


• Adjust and cancel reservations in the system.


• Follow established procedures to process all room reservations, rates, confirmations and hotel facilities.


• Provide timely and efficient response with a high degree of customer service when responding to telephone inquiries and taking reservation requests.


• Maintain an accurate room status and availability at all times


• Up-sell whenever an opportunity is identified.


• Provide information to guests concerning rates, availability of rooms, description of facilities and services, and information about area attractions.


• Understand the credit policy, guaranteed reservations and no show policy of the hotel and how to code each reservation.


• Process reservation confirmation for new reservation and follow up for booking guarantee.
