Distribution Supervisor

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Logistics Specialist shall manage, plan and organise the Logistics
activities and tasks to achieve the overall objectives related to
profitability, competitiveness, customer satisfaction, service and quality.
Responsibilities:

• Plan and optimise transport routes


• Handle storage and transportation of in- and /or outbound raw materials and finished goods


• Execute procedures and guidelines in compliance with local laws, regulations, ISO ‎9001, ISO14001 and ISO ‎45001, JOS and Jotun's HSEQ Management system.


• Executive the shipments from production to the end-user


• Track orders using functional systems (e.g. barcodes and tracking software)


• Coordinate with Warehouse Workers to ensure proper storage and distribution of products


• Monitor and report on transportation costs and other relevant KPIs


• Ensure shipping documents are properly filed


• Organise training sessions for employees (e.g. proper use of machines and handling of hazardous material)


• Keep organised records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders rds of vehicles, schedules and completed orders
