We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Egypt team! This
position will be responsible for supporting the execution of account
strategies set by the account leader. The primary responsibility of this role
is to serve as the expert for specific bioMerieux solutions, and to deliver
the value proposition throughout the sales cycle to identified decision makers
and stakeholders within accounts that are managed by the account leaders. In
addition to this, this role is also responsible for identifying new
opportunities for growth within the accounts and their defined territory.


This position will be based in Cairo with frequent travel througouht Egypt and
the Middle East.

What will your responsibilities be within bioM erieux?

Manage the entire Solution sales process with new and existing customers to
identify and execute opportunities for bioMerieux solutions within the
Industry range (Food/Pharma)
* Qualify customers and promote the solution to key decision makers within the account with the coordination of the account leader.
* Be the solution expert and own the delivery of the solution value proposition, handle customer concerns and objections and perform instrument demonstrations.
* Develop knowledge of the opportunity within the account and update customer information as needed in the CRM.
* Working on the value proposition: bioMerieux Solution and Value knowledge, delivering Insights, tailoring the message.
* Manage the customers calls; challenging the status quo and handling objections.
* Work with wider bioMerieux account team to create and maintain relationships with accounts to achieve annual sales objectives (growth, turnover, margin).
* Develop the account plan and co-ordinate its execution as per the commercial strategy.
* Lead the development of specific business plans for a territory, managing opportunity funnel and associated activities and executing customer retention strategies.
* Work in collaboration with all the experts needed to support on post sale implementation and solution appropriation.
Who are you?
* Bachelor of Science minimum, ideally Pharm D with a Post Graduate degree Business/Marketing highly preferred.
* Experience working in laboratory environment or previous life sciences sales experience .
* Sales Experience required: minimum ‎5 years selling experience, preferably in the Life Science environment and capital equipment sales.
* Strong business acumen along with demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct.
* Ability to convince, persuade and influence in selling situations.
* Strong interpersonal skills, and good ability to communicate and present
* Ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment.
* Ability to develop robust territory and opportunity plans and execute strategies to achieve targets.
* Ability to judge competitive response to sales strategy and make appropriate adjustments
* Fluent English and Arabic is required.
