Join our Sales team in Cairo as the National Key Account Manager for our
Pharma and Health Care Vector!


Your Role


The Key account is responsible to develop new as well as maintaining existing
business. This position will evaluate the country market regarding the
potential Industrial customers and opportunities with a substantial
requirement for Air Logistics (VA), and Sea Logistics (VS) Road Logistics, to
focus predominantly on target accounts with potential business in the
respective business field. Consultative sales approach/cross-selling, offering
complete KN Suite of products and services


Your Responsibilities



  • Directly represents Key Accounts, engaging with the customer and KN networks to become the
    key resource to understand the organization, decision making process specific
    needs and to
    develop a partnership relationship.

  • Conducts regular and structured review sessions with assigned customers for updates on
    customer strategy and priorities, adjustment of our value proposition,
    continuous improvement
    and innovation, as well as operational excellence.

  • Proactively identifies new opportunities to increase the share of wallet with assigned customer(s),
    ensuring an attractive and sizable pipeline and high closing ratio.

  • Creates/updates Key Account Plans, defines strategic approach, value proposition & solution,
    positions (internal & external) KN on RFQs & tenders, partners with BUs to
    deliver attractive
    pricing and service.

  • Controls monthly performance (GP, volume, pipeline, DSO) and ensures immediate actions are
    taken in case of deviations (incl. timely / accurate reporting).

  • Effectively hands over and transitions new business into operations to ensure that customer
    requirements and KN commitments are met.


Your Skills and Experiences



  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline

  • Minimum ‎5-‎7 years' experience in Sales and Account Management experience in the freight forwarding industry, experience with customer of the Industrial vertical

  • Willingness to work in a team, able to drive business and potential to come with business solutions

  • Powers of persuasion, diplomatic panache, excellent communication skills in English and outstanding performance in closing deals

  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on professional and personal staff development
