We need someone to facilitate the training and education for patients using
our pump therapy in addition to train the Diabetes Educator Nurses to master
the using of insulin pump therapy.
A Day in the Life
* Educate (and follow-up on) patients regarding all the technical aspects of Medtronic Diabetes Technology including Continuous Insulin Infusion and Continuous Glucose Monitoring.
* On-board new patients onto new Pump Models and ensure that the patient is meeting the agreed upon end points: Time in Range, Glycated Haemoglobin (HbA1c), Blood and Sensor Glucose level, etc.
* Participate in patient activities to share learnings, success stories and networking activities (in collaboration with the territory sales specialist).
* Ensure proper management of patients' complaints and timely reporting as per Medtronic policies and guidelines.
* Document explicitly on all the training activities and related tasks to meet the business objectives such as, but not limited to, Patient Training Checklists per therapy, Star Right sign-in.
* Engage in creating educating tools deemed necessary to facilitate patients training.
* Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services.
* Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including Research and development, Operations and Marketing.
Must Haves
* Bachelor's degree required in Health Education/Nutrition or related fields
* + 1 year of experience as Diabetes educators required with an introductory knowledge of company products and services
* Installed at least 40-50 patients on Medtronic Insulin Pump
* Certified as insulin Pump Trainer
* Strong Communications skills
* Preferably candidates from similar diabetes industries
