Job Overview:
Kuwait's Largest Retail Chain of Supermarkets company is looking to recruit a
Training Specialist.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Developing and recommending the country's training and development budget and consolidating it with the business plan.
* Organizing, controlling, and supervising local managerial, supervisory and functional training and development activities.
* Developing and defining training and development plans and programs for local training based on inputs from the operating functions.
* Verifying the alignment of training and development plans for the country with feedback and results of performance reviews.
* Participating in the assessment and development of individual succession plans for identified employees and positions in the country.
* Evaluating and determining the advantages and disadvantages between external and in-house training.
* Reviewing, refining, recommending, and adapting relevant policies and procedures to meet the needs of the country.
* Establishing a database of training programs and preferred suppliers for local and "regional" training.
* Exercising regular review and evaluation of training and development activities to ensure compliance with established quality standards and meeting the company requirements.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Trainer preferred in Retail industries.
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or related field
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both English and Arabic
* Strong presentation skills
* Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
* Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
* Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
* Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
