About this opportunity
We are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead Ericsson 's business
with one of the leading telecom operators in Saudi Arabia. The successful
candidate will be part of the leadership team for our customer unit.
We are looking for an energetic and seasoned professional well-versed in
sales, building and maintaining customer relationships at the highest levels
and managing cross-functional teams and operations, to lead our business in
one of the most exciting telecom markets in Middle East Africa.
The role is based in Saudi Arabia, one of the most advanced ICT markets in the
Middle East and among the first to deploy 5G, the fastest growing telecom
technology platform for innovation. A dynamic and exciting market, Saudi
Arabia has ambitious plans to accelerate the development of telecommunications
and information technology to bolster the very bold Saudi 2030 vision.
Ericsson is a leading provider of telecommunication network equipment for our
customer, including multiple generations of radio access technology (2G-5G),
transmission, circuit-switched and packet core (including 5G Core), Realtime
Charging (IN)m along with managed operations.
This is a highly visible position both internally and externally and the
successful candidate will be the key interface between Ericsson executives and
the C-Suite of our customer - the prime advocate of customer inside Ericsson
and the face and voice of Ericsson to Customer.
The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial business leader with a growth
mindset able to conduct business responsibly, with an unwavering commitment to
ethics and integrity. He or she will act with confident authority and be
accountable for the decisions he/she makes.
The role reports to the Head of Global Customer Unit (GCU) and suitable for a
highly responsive, agile and confident leader able to drive change but also
create a larger impact across the Ericsson organization.
What you will do
*
Lead Ericsson 's relationship with customer from the C-level
* Mobilize Ericsson's capabilities (products, services, and technology leadership) to support Customer's strategic goals and ambitions
* Lead orchestrator with end-to end P&L responsibility for our business with Customer - from sales, delivery, operations to customer support and contract execution
* Identify and drive growth opportunities for Ericsson's portfolio in Radio Networks and Transmission, Core and Cloud Platforms, Communication Services, Business Support Systems (BSS) and Managed Operations
* Proactively promote a culture of ethics and integrity
* Manage and grow a high-performing team of talented individuals (sales and technical) with a culture of inclusion and contribute to making Ericsson the best place to work
* Ensure adherence to Ericsson Sales and Operational processes
You will bring
Over 10 years ICT industry experience with:
* Credibility in managing relationships at executive and C-levels
* Clear verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
* Advanced negotiation skills
* Strong business, commercial and financial acumen
* Knowledge and understanding of Ericsson (or equivalent) products, networks and technology and can demonstrate this knowledge effortlessly in front of customers and internal audiences.
* Experience of end-to-end sales and operations and orchestration
* Leading large, diverse, and cross functional teams
* Ability to work collaboratively in a complex matrix organization
* Empathy and courageous, people management skills
* An Ethics and Integrity role model
