Assumes responsibility for the planning, organizing and facilitating of
Quality Management Plan and activities within the Department of Radiology.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties**

1. Develops and oversees the quality improvement programs inthe department
that are related to policies and procedures.
2. Responsible for monitoring and record keeping of quality improvement
programs in the various sections of the department in conjunctionwith the
section supervisors and P.l Coordinator.
3. Generates monthly statistical reports from Cerner andother monthly reports
as needed or requested.
4. Participates in the development and revision ofdepartmental standards,
policies and procedures.
5. Assesses clinical results, patient services and departmental process to
determine correct clinical results, means of improvingpatient services and
methods for increasing efficiency.
6. Responsible for isolating deficiencies in the performanceof the department
sections and coordinating the improvements of saiddeficiencies in conjunction
with the section supervisors and P.L Coordinator.
7. Responsible to conduct routine surveys to assurecompliance of department
standards and customer satisfaction.
9. Assists in the development and analysis of proposed expansions and
introduces new programs/services as required.
10. Liaises with the hospital Quality Management Departmentand other quality
improvement coordinators within the hospital.
11. Provides evidence based reports, statistics and graphical data to Medical
and Clinical Affairs and Clinical Services.
12. Participates in self continuing education, training and development.
13.Participates on committees, task forces and teams asrequested.
14.Participates in self and other's education, training anddevelopment, as
applicable.
15.Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
Education**
Master 's,or Bachelor's Degree in Radiology Sciences/Radiological Technology
or related field is required.
Four(4) years of professional healthcare experience preferably in Radiology
orrelated with Master 's or six (6) years with Bachelor's Degree; including
two(2) years in related quality improvement or supervisory experience is
required.
