The Manager Country Fleet is responsible for the following:
* Overseeing and managing the Fleet and Inventory department within the logistics division.
* The role requires a strong focus on operational efficiency, maintaining accurate records, fostering positive relationships with service providers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* The Fleet Manager will also play a crucial role in managing inventory, conducting stock counts, and forecasting equipment needs for new riders.
* Supporting the Sr Manager Special Projects on ad-hoc projects as and when required.
Key responsibilities for the Fleet Department:
* Vehicle Maintenance
* Regulatory Compliance
* Relationship Management
* Personnel Records
Key responsibilities for the Inventory Department:
* Inventory Management
* Stock Counts
* Equipment Forecasting
* Equipment issuance
* Clearance for churned riders
The Fleet Manager needs excellent leadership and decision-making skills.

* Maintain departmental compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Ensure departmental adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
* Advice on deciding whether to lease or buy vehicles based on proper analysis and justifications.
* Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
* Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
* Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
* Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
* Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
* Utilizing GPS systems to monitor and track vehicles in case of theft.
* Managing and Training Personnel
* Develop and improve rider engagement and initiative programs.

* Degree in Logistics is preferred
* ‎5+ years experience in a logistics role
* Experience in the transportation industry
