Operations Manager - NFV

What's On Your Plate?
* Manage and improve local NFV operations through vendor management, optimizing processes & best practices as well as developing a strong local operations team. The key focus is to drive operational efficiency to support sales and growth locally. This role holder will oversee internal teams within Vendor Content + Vendor Operations + oversee outsourced content scanning teams.
* Oversee and manage all daily operations of the business, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance overall business performance.
* Accountable for local NFV operational performance including both commercial & operational KPIs
* Work with Head of NFV to shape the strategy/plan to achieve targets, ensuring regular reviews and pre-prioritisation
* Create and maintain a strong partnership with the Sales team; collaborate on strategy, priorities and opportunities
* Work with the Regional Ops team to be the local market ops stakeholder; highlight opportunities, gain support and share any local initiatives
* Maintain and monitor costs related to our teams on the ground, including our relationships with 3PL providers and operational employees.
* Ensure we are cost-effective and budget-conscious without compromising the quality of service delivery.
* Work closely with key accounts on performance, and opportunities and leverage relationship to build local market insights
* Scope and deliver local initiatives to improve ops metrics quantified with data analysis
* Drives the team to deliver consistent results & improvements across all NFV verticals
* Consistently reviews performance, highlighting successes and areas of improvement supported by a target action plan
* Expert in local operational processes/procedures, continually evaluating, simplifying, removing non-value-adding tasks and auditing compliance
* Ability to think outside of the box, innovate where products/processes are not available and challenge ways of working
* Leads by example and provides in-depth training to the team
* Drive team focus on objective and goals by building a cohesive team that drive results through maximum efficiency
* Share best practices, and successful initiatives with our markets to support
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
* Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with a capacity to make decisions and prioritize tasks.
What Did We Order?
* ‎3 plus years operational experience in Grocery operations or food/tech business
* Strong operational experience, local expertise desirable
* Direct Line management experience - Ability to build relationships, motivate peers and manage upwards
* Ability to think outside of the box, innovate where products/processes are not available and challenge ways of working
