The Role / Opportunity
The Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible to manage the development and
consistent implementation of effective Category Management solutions and
merchandising guidelines, coordinate marketing and sales initiated National
and In-store Promotions, manage National In-store Sampling activities,
coordinate marketing-initiated Point of Sales (POS), provide innovative POSM
solutions and ensure effective implementation throughout KSA OR GULF regions.
The ideal candidate must have working knowledge and experience in a similar
role and industry. He must have competencies such as Knowledge on Category
Management Strategy; Excellent market knowledge; Team worker; Customer
focused; Negotiation skills; Decision making skills; Analytical thinking;
Problem-solving skills; Strategic thinking; Good communication and
interpersonal skill.
C andidates must have the following to be shortlisted:
University/college BA Degree in Marketing or Business-related subject.
At least 5 years Category management and/or Trade Marketing experience with a
reputable FMCG company in the Middle East with evidence of well-developed
management skills and proven track record of delivering results in a
competitive environment.
A proven track record in Space Planning and Category Management.
Good communication skills and written English skills.
Operation planning.
Pricing Strategy and Management.
Brand positioning and share of trade.
New Product Development.
Previous experience working in the Middle East would be an advantage.
Previous experience with an International FMCG business within the
Food/Beverage Sector would be an advantage.
Previous experience with JDA INTACTIX would be a distinct advantage.
