Job Purpose: Emirates Skywards, the award-winning loyalty programme of
Emirates and flydubai, has marked more than 20 years of excellence, innovation
and unmatched rewards. Over the past 2 decades, the loyalty programme has
exponentially grown its membership base by offering value and rich,
personalised experiences to its members around the world. The programme has
extensively invested to diversify its brand partnerships, and utilise
innovative digital technology, so that it can offer its members across the
globe with more ways to earn and enjoy rewards, conveniently and via new
touchpoints. In order to support its ambitious growth, we have embarked upon
an journey to replace the in-house Loyalty platform to a new state- of- the
-art vendor hosted platform. A time bound project that warrants an experienced
team across various business roles in Skywards to partner with Internal IT,
vendor and stakeholders to successfully launch this across an established,
diverse and multi-faceted organization. The Business Solutions & Operational
Manager will manage, prioritise, and deliver key initiatives aligned to the
department's strategy. This role will be responsible for monitoring and
proactively driving foundational improvments on the Loyalty Platform and also
managing the business support and operations team to ensure Skywards business
continuity. Additionally, the Business Solitions & Operational Manager will
design, develop and scale the Skywards Infinity platform that will connect
local members in strategic markets to local lifestyle partners, across a
number of verticals. The platform will provide members with an opportunity to
earn and burn everyday in a seamless way, and will provide the partners with
an effective channel to engage with members. This role will work in close
collaboration with the Partnerships Team to ensure platform meets the
requirements of the business development and partnerships strategy. Job
Outline: 1. Responsible for the end-to-end delivery and management of key
strategic projects and initiatives. 2. Collaborate with department Heads, IT
and supplier partners to ensure successful implementation of Skywards
initiatives in line with the department's future direction and strategy,
ensuring optimal return on technology investments. 3. Innovate, identify, and
recommend industry best practices with regards to automated business processes
as well as proactively seek, validate, and collate the current & future
process/ technology needs of Skywards, resulting in improved efficiency, cost
reduction and customer experience. 4. Manage programme budgets, control costs
and implement solutions to ensure the programme delivers within set commercial
objectives and adheres to security and privacy compliance requirements.
Monitor internal performance measures to ensure programme deliverables are on
track 5. Support the portfolio management and project governance of a broad
range of initiatives 6. Ensure prioritisation, cross-functional bridging, and
visibility of Skywards initiatives through strong stakeholder management and
communication. within the Skywards department and the wider Emirates
organisation. 7. Manage and coach a team of delivery leads to ensure on-time
and within budget delivery of all strategic initiatives in line with agreed
objectives and requirements. 8. Champion collaboration, technology enabled
innovation, and Skywards participation in Emirates' activities around core
business transformation and innovation. 9. Manage the business support and
operations team to ensure Skywards business continuity.
Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications: - Degree or Honors ( 12+3 or
equivalent) Qualification and exposure to IT or Project Management preferred.
Experience - 8+ years experience in the travel industry with at least 5 years
specifically in management and operational support of information systems for
a business unit (preferably frequent flyer or loyalty programme in any
domain). - 5+yrs in using Agile Project Management methodologies for
delivering projects & initiatives. Knowledge/skills: - Experience in
delivering complex/cross functional projects. - Excellent stakeholder and
vendor management. - Cross functional work experience, leading through
influence. - Ability to develop business cases, and a good understanding of
ROI and other key performance metrics. - Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience in using complex data sets to derive commercial insights and
improve revenue performance in a loyalty or commercial role. Additional Skills
Desired: - Experience working with B2C digital solutions, be it marketing,
financial payments solutions, decentralized financial technologies, etc.
