Hematology Application Specialist
Role Overview:
Supporting Customers with required application knowledge related to hematology
& solve relative problems in an efficient and effective way.
Ensuring that the end customer is getting the result they want, and is
satisfied with Abbott Hematology products, solutions, and performance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide customer application & technical support on all Abbott Hematology products and equipment, pre and post sales, through phone, email and onsite meetings.
* Manage customer complaints providing long term solutions.
* Represent and champion the customer's views within Abbott.
* Being able to travel frequently (70 %) to perform training, product demonstrations, resolve problems and to provide commissioning on customer sites in a professional way.
* Suggest new ideas and workflow improvement to customers based on laboratories best practice
* Be the consultant and SME for sales team in positioning the right solutions & products.
* Product presentations & Hematology scientific presentations (Internally & Externally)
* Being the SME for Hematology & Coagulation products, solutions & science.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
*
Degree in Biochemistry, Medical Technology, or relevant field
* Practical experience in Hematology & Coagulation labs
* Minimum of 2 years' Experience in Diagnostics organization or Medical Lab
* Demonstrable drive and enthusiasm for your work
* Be analytically sound and have a systematic thought process
* Respond well to working in a challenging foreign environment
* Strong commitment to project completion
* The ability to build relations and influence at all levels
* Ability to present technical scientific papers
* Adept at Microsoft Office and should be proficient with Microsoft Windows installations
* Be at ease organizing, planning, and executing their own travel
* Capable of freely travelling assigned area of Saudi Arabia and as needed to support other areas within Middle East region.
