Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities:
* Take full ownership of event planning and management process.
* Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
* Ensure events are completed smoothly and proactively step up to resolve any problems that might occur
* Evaluate the event's success and prepare reports
* Ensure that all events are executed within the approved budget and established protocols
* Oversee the booking of appropriate event venues, contractors, and suppliers Ensure quality and protocol compliance across all events .
* Attend events and manage onsite team members
* Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams and departments
* Coordinate all event related operations
* Assemble creative and innovative event attractions based on internal capabilities or outsources to qualified vendors.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree or minimum of three years experience in hospitality industry related management
* Minimum of three years of demonstrable presenting skills
* Minimum of four years experience in a customer facing role.
Skills and Experience:
* Team player with leadership skills
* Proven results in planning / leading events
- Problem solving - Service oriented with professional presentation skills
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
* Self-motivating, able to work both independently or as part of a team
* Excellent oral communication skills (Arabic an advantage but not a requirement)
