Job Summary :
Manage a team of sales professionals in order to promote product sales, and
achieve sales targets, turnover, profit, market share growth, and customer
satisfaction index.


Job Description :
Strategic:
‎1. Contribute to the formulation of strategic plans and budgets in order to
achieve business results.
‎2. Monitor implementation of the annual plans and measure achievements of
results against the budgets and objectives and take corrective measures as
appropriate.
‎3. Identify the strategic business and market trends, i.e. competitors' and
principals' activities, and customer's behaviors, and ensure alignment of the
various business components to these trends and recommend solutions to cope
with market changes.
‎4. Recommend strategies to enhance the performance of the department by
reducing cost and optimizing efficiency levels.
Operational:
‎1. Assign targets to the sales team, follow up on targets, analyze variances,
and submit a report to General Manager, TOP with recommendations.
‎2. Ensure the customer prospecting database is constantly updated and
maintained, and identify and interact with Key Account Customers through
email, personal visits, contact, etc. to maintain customer satisfaction and to
sustain and improve the business.
‎3. Oversee market research activities and review market intelligence reports
for network expansion, and sales promotion, prepare reports and submit to
General Manager, TOP with findings for further action.
‎4. Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing plans, such
as promotions, advertising campaigns, etc… to help develop sales and market
share.
‎5. Analyze sales demand; prepare sales forecast and ensure maintaining the
appropriate level of stock in the branch upon approval of the General Manager,
TOP.
‎6. Manage the delivery schedules and ensure delivery of Tyres as per time and
location in coordination with Supervisor, Warehouse.
‎7. Ensure adherence of the sales team to company policies, approve discounts,
sales returns, etc.
‎8. Contribute to the development and implementation of incentive schemes.
‎9. Conduct Monthly branch meetings, visit branches, verify Retail Standards,
and ensure compliance as per set Principal/Department standards and report to
General Manager, TOP with findings/recommendations.
‎10. Attend to and resolve escalated customer complaints and represent the
Business Unit at a senior level within the customer database and ensure the
Business image is maintained and enhanced, develop customer database and
generate business.
‎11. Monitor changes in the market situation and legislative requirements,
competition, and customer feedback, report to management and recommend or
implement action to meet changing circumstances as required.
‎12. Monitor and report on sales activities and performance and take
corrective measures as necessary.


People Management:
‎1. Identify, set, and agree on KPIs and objectives.
‎2. Prepare performance planning (PP) and conduct performance appraisal (PA)
and PP/PA interviews including employee development plans and counsel
employees on career progression opportunities and approve training requests.
‎3. Recommend employee promotions, salary adjustments, and disciplinary
actions and approve vacation and overtime.
‎4. Identify staffing needs, participate in interviewing panels, and take
hiring decisions.
‎5. Maintain and promote staff motivation by addressing employee grievances
promptly and escalating when necessary and enforcing fair and equitable
compliance with Group policies and procedures
‎6. Prepare periodic reports and presentations.
‎7. Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on
internal communication portals.

‎8. Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.
‎9. Perform other duties as requested by management.
