Purpose and Scope of the Job
Under direct supervision, file and retrieve patient records; prepare new
files; distribute mail.
Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards

Answer telephone and route calls; accurately record messages; and ensure
appropriate staffs receive messages.

Sends and receives and logs fax, create, maintain, and produces files and
schedules.

Log and distribute documents, letters, circulars, etc., between departments of
the hospital.
4
Open, sort and route mail, and prepare outgoing items for mailing, including
bulk mailings.
5
Delivers oral or written messages.
6
Photocopy documents, records, and general office material.
7
Maintain inventory of office supplies and order supplies as needed.
8
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education
At least High School Certificate
Experience
One year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities
specified.
