Collects and delivers mail, both internal and external. Assists in sorting
mail. Performs other messenger duties as assigned.
1. Picks up and delivers mail and other items to designated departments
according to established schedules. Weighs outgoing mail and stamps with
correct postage and maintains record of postage used and of receipts for
registered and regular mail delivered and received.
2. Makes special deliveries or collection of messages and other items as
instructed by supervisor.
3. Assists with sorting of incoming mail.
4. Assists with the handling of employee and Hospital parcels.
5. Ensures the maintenance of records concerned with receipt and dispatches
of both registered and regular mail.
6. Ensures the neat and orderly condition mail.
7. Participates in Department/Unit specific and Hospital wide quality
improvement plan preferred.
Intermediate School education required.
No experience required.
Bilingual capabilities Arabic/English required.
