Job Description Summary


You will be responsible for developing and executing the service sales and
marketing strategy and driving top-line growth for the Service business in
North East Africa (NEA). You will contribute to building and managing long-
term strategic relationships in GE HealthCare's direct and Indirect service
markets and will enter into/execute Commercial arrangements on behalf of GE
HealthCare. This role will report to the General Manager Service Sales,
Emerging Markets

Responsibilities



  • Manage overall service (after sales) revenue (contract, non-contract, upgrades and digital solutions) to ensure Service organization meets its financial commitments to the business.

  • Define and execute the sales strategy for the related geography

  • Manage an experienced Sales team and drive all related commercial activities and customer satisfaction

  • Be accountable to achieve the quarterly and yearly Service sales and margin targets as well as timely and accurate forecasting and yearly business planning cycles.

  • Own and drive business plan and Growth playbook for the commercial arm of services.

  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Utilize understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process

  • Partner with the Imaging and CCS equipment leads on developing attractive, value-added service offerings at point of sales (POS) along with an upgrade strategy on Installed Base (IB)

  • Work in close collaboration with the Local Customer Team (LCT) General Manager to support market share growth

  • Identify business opportunities to increase capture rate and maximize One GE HealthCare service sales revenues.

  • Lead others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer and make decisions.

  • Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.

  • Facilitate effective communication and trustful collaboration within the Zone/Product matrix organization.

  • Build long-term relationships with customers; provide leadership/direction in crucial customer interfaces to promote Service offerings.

  • Effectively utilize key industry information and market knowledge to gain competitive advantage in the market

  • Work hand in hand with the rest of the services organization to maximize growth, drive profitability and leverage Field Engineers (FEs) to increase GE HealthCare 's capture rate


Qualifications and Characteristics



  • BA/BS Degree. Master 's/MBA degree preferred.

  • Strong organizational knowledge / Multinational experience.

  • ‎10+ years of successful sales, commercial or marketing leadership experience

  • Minimum of ‎5 years in healthcare industry

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Strong commercial and P&L management experience with significant track record.

  • Experience engaging with customers, driving growth, and drive strategic initiatives.

  • Analytical, Structured, and strategic thinking.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with all layers in the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
