This position is responsible for the timely and accurate administration of
Human Resource records and information:
Facilitates New Hire orientation process for regular and temporary employees.
Manages all HR data management systems.
Works closely with employees and management to ensure prompt and confidential
administration.
Responds to all unemployment claims and acts as primary liaison between
unemployment case managers and employer.
Leads Employee Activity Committee and is responsible for the coordination of
all employee events and engagement.
Responsible for all facility communication.
Publishes monthly newsletter to include special features and upcoming events.
Sends all-employee email communication.
Works closely with Corporate functions (Payroll, Ops, Benefits) to gather
data, respond to requests.
Communicates in an accurate and timely manner to address employee concerns.
Maintains strict confidentiality.
Responsible for General HR and Office support tasks as assigned.
Assists in special projects, compliance reporting and general employee
relations tasks.
Provides general filing and administrative tasks as assigned.
Knowledge and working application of HR function.
Good customer service skills, use of telephone and E-mail.
Strong knowledge of Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and specialized software
in related field.
Organized work habits, filing, alphabetization and word processing.
Must have the ability to prioritize workflow and handle multiple activities.
The ability to complete tasks by following general guidelines and policies is
essential.
The individual should be able to identify errors or faults in process and
recommend or implement solutions.
Must be self-directed and motivated to complete repetitive tasks.
Sensitivity to confidential information is required.
