Head of SW Services

About this opportunity

We're hiring a Head of Services Delivery Unit to lead our team and ensure
excellent service delivery for our software business. This person will oversee
all aspects of service delivery, including operations, deployment, and
support. You report directly to the Head of SA CNS Engineering, working with
our leadership team to achieve high customer satisfaction and provide guidance
to our team of over ‎80 experts and various ASPs. Our SW services team
currently supports over ‎6.6 million cells across ‎23 production environments
globally, with plans to expand significantly in ‎2023. This role is critical in
transforming our cognitive networking solutions into the next generation of
cloud-native and AI-powered products and solutions.
The position is hosted in our Business Area BCSM CNS organization and the
primary sites for the position area Malaga, Cairo and Bangalore.

What you will do:

• Transform the SW Services portfolio to cloud-native solutions


• Actively contribute on the success of the entire CSW product portfolio.


• Develop strategies to deliver high-quality cloud services to customers


• Manage all aspects of services delivery, including scoping, planning, deployment, and support


• Provide leadership and guidance to the services delivery team


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and improve SW offerings


• Manage customer relationships and act as a primary point of contact for service-related inquiries and issues


• Continuously monitor and improve service delivery processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that service level agreements are met or exceeded


• Manage the resources and budget for the services delivery unit


• Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements to optimize resource allocation and financial performance

You will bring:**
* Experience in developing and delivering SW-related services
* Domain experience in RAN, NDO, SW Development and Operations, AI, and Cloud-native architecture
* Experience in deploying cloud-native software solutions and familiarity with related tools and technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab, Spinnaker, Terraform, and Helm
* A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
* Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality services and meeting or exceeding SLAs
* Knowledge of software deployment and operations processes and tools
* Experience with Agile, DevOps and MLOps methodologies
* Demonstrated experience managing resources and budgets for a services delivery unit or similar function
