Software Engineering Manager
From applied research to advanced engineering, Dell's 5G SW engineering team
is designing and developing a ground-breaking product. You will be involved in
assessing the market, developing technology and products, and generating
intellectual property. Your contributions will drive product architecture and
implementation in support of building something from the ground up, all while
working with colleagues across the globe to ensure Dell products always lead
the way.
We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Frontend
software development team in the design and implementation of a cloud-based
management and orchestration product. Candidates should have a strong
experience in highly scalable distributed systems.

What you'll achieve:
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will oversee the architecture, design,
and delivery of a new 5G product while leading and growing a world-class team
focusing on the User Interface of a Management and Orchestration system for
private 5G networks.
You will:
* Lead a global agile software engineering team focused on the design, architecture and implementation of the User Interface of a 5G Management and orchestration product.
* Ensure team meets project requirements for schedule and quality
* Hire a diverse and effective workforce
* Participate in long-range planning and development of operational goals and engineering specifications
* Provide innovative solutions to complex problems and communicate progress toward project/program goals

Here's what we are looking for with this role:
Essential Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience leading a distributed team of software developers, managing development schedules, and driving interlock meetings along with presenting program status to key stakeholders.
* Extensive software development experience using several of the following technologies: JavaScript ES6, Typescript, React, Angular, Redux, Webpack, NPM/Yarn.
* Deep knowledge of Agile software development practices, Agile program management and product offering lifecycle methodologies
* Experience working on a large cloud native product/system
Desirable Requirements:
* Experience in leading and driving software design principles across multiple product groups
* Experience working with Kubernetes and / or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure & Google Cloud
