TLScontact is looking for an experienced Training Department Lead to drive the
Training as a key contributor of the core TLS business. Clients are from the
public sector: ministries, consulates and Embassies and services are delivered
worldwide.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Use performance reviews and skills gap analyses to identify training needs per department, team and individual
* Plan training programs based on business goals
* Coordinate development of learning courses
* Oversee learning activities
* Coordinating program changes with management
* Evaluate the results of learning courses
* Collaborate with cross functional teams
* Monitor industry trends and perform research into training techniques
* Managing the training budget
* Stakeholder management - including coordination of suppliers` performance meetings and clients monthly / ad hoc meetings. Managing the relationships and building new ones with Third Parties.
* Reporting - provide clear and concise reporting to both internal stakeholders and clients.
* Contribution to various Task Forces for temporary or prolonged periods to support on short/long term objectives.
* Contribution to key projects implementation and respect of set timelines. Contributing to key deliverables, involving relevant stakeholders. Create and maintain project documentation.
* Resource Allocation - ensure that tasks are distributed across the team, team management, objectives setting and reporting.
* Communication & Training - provide to clients, operations, and other teams with relevant training where required. Providing relevant communications to the senior leadership team where required.
Qualifications, Skills, and Educational requirements
In-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including
workshops, simulations, e-learning and coaching)
Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Excellent organizational and time keeping skills
Experience in managing staff, resolving disputes, and dealing with conflicting
agendas
Excellent communication, listening and negotiation skills
Cultural sensitivity and comfortable with a global and very diverse company
Very proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent spoken and written English
Structured thinking, problem solving skills and solid attention to detail
Able to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
Self-starter, takes ownership, and delivers with minimal supervision
Availability to travel where required
