Job Responsibilities:
- Handling all export shipments and documentation to different destinations across ME, EU, UK, USA, and Worldwide.
- Develop and maintain a healthy relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate, monitor, and follow up with supply chain operations for shipment updates and planning.
- Obtaining freight quotes from forwarders and shipping lines and from that nominate the appropriate one.
- Advise/Coordinate/Prepare shipping documents with source units as per requirements and regulations of shipment destinations.
- Monitoring and evaluating the shipment invoices and making insurance requests for the shipments.
- Prepare all the required documents related to the shipment & customs.
- Communicate with suppliers, operation team, and customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
- Obtain proof of collection/delivery from the client or its forwarding agent to ensure the fluidity of client payments.
- Provides periodically updated reports on the status of the shipments and related reports to the management.
- Send weekly updates of the shipment and notification of readiness/delivery to the customer.
- Manage and follow up on any discrepancies (suppliers / customers / internal team).
- Experience in UAE customs rules and import regulations, especially concerning the shipment clearance documents and keeping updated with the latest rules and changes whenever occur.
- Ensure premises, assets, and communication ways are used effectively to optimize procedures.
- Ensure timely delivery of documents to destinations to avoid Demurrages and/or other additional costs.
Job Requirements:

- Ability to use computers, software, and other technology for inventory and communication purposes.
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.

- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions.
- Possess strong knowledge and experience of third-party inbound and outbound shipment planning and logistics.
- Sound knowledge of all the Incoterms/shipment terms - DDP/DDU/Ex-work/FOB /CIF/C&F.
- Experience in all shipping modes (Road / Air / Vessel/any kind).
- Must have knowledge and experience in Dubai trade procedures, the Mirsal 2 system, and Dubai Chamber of Commerce documentation.
