The sanctions officer is responsible for the investigation of the transactions
that have been escalated by the AML officer in the monitoring stage and ensure
that all suspicious customers are captured & reported.
As a Tapster you will:
* Manage the daily process of name screening hits through reviewing & investigation.
* Analyse the suspicious to confirm or discharge.
* Report all suspicious matches (entities) to the Sanction Supervisor - logging & recording all screening results, reports, and documents.
* Develop & assist with all SAMA reports.
* Assists in developing the internal & external awareness plan.
* Maintains the sanction unit database, by logging, and conducting a periodical review.
* Assists in KYC periodic reviews.
* Create any requested reports.
* Create and amend the scenarios & their thresholds & parameters according to the risk-based approach.
* Supports an annual review of the efficiency and effectiveness of the name screening & monitoring process.
What you will bring to the party:
* Bachelor's degree in relevant field
* 3-5 years relevant experience.
* Minimum 1 years of experience in payment systems operations or similar experiences.
* Excellent analytics skills
* Excellent reporting skills.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Preferably worked with AML systems.
* Certified in Anti-Money Laundry (ACAMS or CCO)
* Arabic & English
