To lead and ensure provision of advanced condition monitoring and
data/performance analysis of critical power, desalination and renewal energy
plant systems, components, and processes. Responsibilities include the
development, implementation, maintenance, and use of advanced pattern
recognition models and plant operational data to detect changes in the
operating behavior of multiple plant systems, equipment, and components, in
addition improving and/or detecting in performance shortfall and provide
remedial action to be taken by the plants.
Process engineer experience is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Process engineer experience is preferred.
* A bachelor's degree holder in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial or Chemical Engineering or related field
Minimum Experience:
* Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience power plant operation experience (preferably in Shift or process engineering)
Skills:
* Thorough knowledge of power and water plant operations/maintenance.
* Strong working knowledge of rotating components such as pumps, motors, steam turbines, and generators and field instrumentation.
* Extensive operational experience and knowledge in all aspects of power plant equipment and systems operations.
* Thorough knowledge and experience using data historians (OIS) and other software tools to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
* Proficient in engineering theories and principles.
* Working knowledge of troubleshooting Power Plant Operational/maintenance issues.
* Demonstrated ability to meet commitments while managing multiple objectives and projects
* Able to prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, and documentation for resolution of technical problems utilizing Fossil's/Renewable and water desalination OEM process.
* Proven ability to prioritize alarms/conditions based on risks and consequences.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
