Currently we are looking for a person, who can join us as a Commercial
Operations Manager, who will manage the Saudi supply chain including product
procurement, warehousing, distribution, asset efficiency and customer services
as well as continuously evaluating Go-To-Market models in collaboration with
the respective commercial and functional counterparts. The aim of the role is
to achieve continuous, accurate and timely product supply to customers and to
ensure Saudi Operations are well positioned to enable & achieve significant
sales growth in the coming years.
At this position you will also act as a Center of Excellence for Operational
Excellence & Last Mile Operations for all Emerging Markets Region. The role is
accountable for developing & supporting execution of Operational Excellence
and Last Mile Operations Strategy, Governance, and Initiatives to
significantly improve the maturity of Last Mile distribution (Loaners,
Consignments, Network Footprint & replenishments) across Emerging Markets. To
accomplish that, the role is expected to introduce tools, dashboards, and
processes to ensure predictable and sustainable results across the region
while elevating operations towards a top-quartile performer.
Cluster Commercial Operations (Saudi)
* Accountable for ensuring smooth & effective day-to-day customer service and logistic activities
* Develop & implement inventory health management and control strategy for the cluster to ensure appropriate stock levels to support current & future business with minimum excess level; including but not limited to: safety stock review, stock replenishment, quarantine stock, undeployed instruments and others.
* Perform in-depth analysis to evaluate E&O exposure and identify solutions to minimize risks impacting cluster & company P&L
* Develop & implement strategies to ensure highest customer order fulfillment and service levels
* Accountable for delivering highest standards of warehouse operations (inhouse/3PL) resulting in cost efficiency & customer satisfaction
* Directly manage operations related 3PL services (distribution, warehousing, customs brokerage, and others) to ensure service continuity, cost control & performance management
* Develop & implement strategies to assess and improve asset efficiency & turns for all deployed instruments & implants in the market - including but not limited to in-depth analysis, dashboards, identifying excess/shortages, influencing investment decisions, deploy/redeploy strategies, and others
* Collaboration with commercial team to implement the appropriate operational strategies to support the business
Emerging Markets Operational Excellence and Last Mile Operations
* Directly collaborate with all Commercial Operations Leaders in Emerging Markets in matters related to executing Operational Excellence and Last Mile Operations strategies
* Provide Operational Excellence and Last Mile Operations Centre of Excellence (COE) expertise to Commercial Operations stakeholders in Emerging Markets
* Develop and implement Operational Excellence strategy addressing the specific needs of Emerging Markets including but not limited to Formal Opex Program Introduction, Bridging skills & training needs, Initiative implementation and tracking, cost optimization tracking and others
* Propose, execute & govern Operational Excellence and Last Mile Operations initiatives on a periodic basis, in collaboration with EM Comm Ops leaders and respective EMEA Commercial Operations Stakeholders
Professional experience
* Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Supply Chain & Operation
* Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Procurement
* Extensive experience in managing Customer Service operations
* Advanced SAP knowledge
