Job responsibility :
* Research the aforementioned markets for suppliers / solutions / new products
* Support the implementation of Procurement plans and strategies
* Work in conjunction with Supply Chain and Logistics team to ensure successful delivery of goods
* Build effective and collaborative working relationships with the local teams to translate procurement strategies and ensure effective procurement of goods and services to support their requirements
* Work with Accounting team to ensure suppliers are paid fairly and on time
* Take ownership for risks impacting the work packages
* Generate Technical & Commercial Supplier Evaluation Matrices
* Place local purchase orders in line with required timescales and deadlines
* Obtaining commitments from the supplier(s) for quality, time and costs to meet the overall objectives
Person Specifications :
* Minimum Bachelors Degree (BA / BSc)
* Minimal experience, fresh graduates / trainees also accepted
* Knowledge of local markets, practices, processes and suppliers
* Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
* Presentation Skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Decision making and problem solving
* Supplier relationship management
