Worley is currently looking for an experienced Buyer to be part of our team on
a project in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides all project procurement activities as required by Project and also
ensures the proper coordination with other project disciplines to meet all
procurement milestone dates.
* Assists development of Project Procurement Plan and Strategy
* Manages/ Conducts Suppliers (Vendors) Pre-Qualification Process
* Prepares RFQ packages / RFQ bidder lists
* Issues RFQ, collect Bids
* Prepares commercial bid evaluations
* Negotiates / Clarifies commercial matters with Bidders
* Prepares Approval forms for PO placement
* Issues POs
* Administrates POs
* Expedites all deliverables defined in POs including delivery of the ordered equipment/ materials / services
* Coordinates inspection / logistics matters with relevant parties
* Obtains / Assesses Suppliers (Vendors)' Progress Report
* Obtains invoices and Assess invoices for payments
* Prepares / Updates Procurement Reports such as PSR/ESR/LSR
* Assesses / Evaluates Suppliers(Vendors)' Performance
* Performs POs close-out
Must have:
* Bachelor's Degree or higher, in Engineering or Business Management
* +5 Year Experience of EPC or EPCM Contract and Project Procurement
* Thorough knowledge of project procurement process, practices & commercial terms and conditions, IK/OOK market & suppliers, logistics, international codes and standards.
* Strong skills of commercial awareness, negotiation, internal/external communication, presentation & reporting and MS (word/excel/power point/teams, etc.)
