Responsible to drive Purchasing Productivity, Supplier Concentration to
achieve desired targets. Deliver year on year Productivity through
negotiation, outsourcing, change of supplier and QVE
Require: Proven track record in supplier negotiation, Good experience in
proposing ideas to drive technical productivity
Should process good understanding of market player in different category with
ability to source and propose cost saving through Change of suppliers from
best cost countries (China, Vietnam, India, Malaysia...etc)
Responsible for deployment of Schneider Supplier Quality management methods
and Supplier Quality - SAM, SQM and SPM modules deployment. Audits &
development of products based on the specification provided.Develop quality
parts at optimum cost with suppliers.
Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure supplier issues are minimised & BOL &
SOTD & DPMe targets are achieved.
Drive cost efficiency through various procurement strategies.
* Technical sound in fabricated parts manufacturing, material, secondary processes and cost
* Manufacturing processes (Plastic injection, stamping, Machining)
* Material (engineering plastic, ferrous and non-ferrous material, market index) Cost (ability to estimate, understand and challenge the cost breakdown with proposal)
Drive payment terms improvement, execute supplier strategy in alignment with
category. Maintain PP contracts, subcontracting agreements as per KIC
guidelines. Ensure compliance as per Key Internal Control guidelines.
