Job Purpose: Support the other team members within procurement operations to
ensure that section objectives are met. Support the procurement operations
activities for the assigned category. Job Outline: - Provide support to the
team by performing intermediate functions of procurement operations. -
Interact with sourcing, contracts & vendor management, suppliers, freight
forwarders and inventory stores to ensure that the business units are fully
involved in the procurement process. - Administor the agreed procurement
operations policies by and keep the business units aware of any changes to the
procedures and processes. - Administor the asset disposal bid tabulation and
terms and conditions, to ensure that the Groups' best commercial position is
attained. - Conduct procurement operations tasks as per company standards and
escalate any shortfalls to the stakeholders. - Make sure that the agreed
service levels have been met and followed by suppliers, freight forwarders,
inventory stores and business units.
Qualifications & Experience: Procurement.Non-aircraft : 3+ Years Degree or
Honours (12+3 or equivalent) : In fields of Supply Chain, Engineering or
Manufacturing. Evidence of continual professional development through a
recognised professional body such as The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and
Supply. Experience in International Supply Chain Management & Procurement
Operations. Knowledge/skills: - The job holder must have a proven track record
of superior Customer Service and a proven team player. - Good interpersonal
skills, experience and confidence to adequately deal with senior personnel. -
