Role Summary:
The Junior Controller ensures that all accounting procedures associated with a
busy sales environment are undertaken efficiently. S/He will also focus
handling accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
Position Location: Riyadh, KSA
Business Industry: Pumps and Pump Systems
Reporting to: : Head of Finance
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate.
* Review daily accounting documentation.
* Liaise with other departments/banks/customers/vendors.
* Update accounts receivable and assist with accurate invoice issuance.
* Review suppliers' invoices and ensure accuracy of all payments made to them.
* Prepare periodic tax reporting/payments.
* Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices.
* Review office petty cash & employee expenses.
* Ensure that payments of statutory liabilities are made within prescribed time limits.
* Assist in monthly & annual financial closing.
* Provide financial statements and ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
* Handle annual accounts for certification and tax statements and communicate to the auditors.
* Ensure reliable and appropriate accounting processes and standards regarding to local/international legal requirements.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance.
* Master's Degree in Finance is a plus.
* 2-3 years of experience in accounting & controlling.
* CMA / ACCA Certification is a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personality Attributes:
* Knowledge of tax laws.
* Excellent accounting & general math skills.
* Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
* Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
* Solid knowledge of IT administration tools.
* Knowledge of SAP/ Navision, Office 365.
