Senior Manager Finance - KSA

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:
Responsible for the financial health of adidas Saudi Arabia in-terms of
accurate book-keeping and thorough financial analysis to ensure quality
reporting, high control measures and decision support that mitigate risks &
exploit opportunities working closely with stakeholders. To produce financial
reports and develop financial strategies based on company performance and
objectives. To act as the Legal Representative of adidas Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate all strategic decisions connected with business with regular MIS, financial analysis & feasibility studies. Prepare budgets, quarterly forecasts, SBPs & related comments and challenge abnormalities in results while measuring progress on own KPIs. To evaluate and report on deviations of departmental authorized budget.
* Timely & accurate monthly closing of accounts according to the company's policies and local GAAP.
* Facilitating external & internal audits. Continuously assess the internal control environment and plug gaps where necessary.
* Support MENA Credit Control team to manage Receivables exposure.
* Oversee legal & corporate compliance requirements of the company in Saudi Arabia.
* Manage Cash Flows

Personnel:
* To staff most suitable persons in direct report positions.
* To coach, train & motivate towards development of team.
* To set personnel objectives, targets, guidelines and assess direct and indirect reports.
* To develop the functional, methodological, interpersonal and personnel skills of direct reports on the job and off the job by trainings.
* To manage staff of Finance as a team.

Key Relationships:
* Retail, Sales, SCM, Marketing, HR, External Parties (Banks, Auditors, Govt Officials related to Finance Role).

KPIs:
* Operating Leverage, Net Sales %vs PY, Contribution (Management Profit)%, Net Margin%, Operating-Overhead%, Marketing%, CAPEX, payables, inventory and cash flow
* All statutory and legal reporting requirements met.
* All adidas Policies met.
* Forecasting accuracy +-‎5%.
* Successful implementation of Area Emerging Markets initiatives.
* Forecasts/Budgets done with credible assumptions, with clear analytics around what is driving the financial algorithms.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
* CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualified strongly preferred.
* University degree in business with corporate finance, financial accounting, mgt accounting
* Functional:> ‎8-‎10 years of at least ‎2-‎3 years in an FP&A role.
* Industry: ideally apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG
* Leadership: >‎3 years with strong communication

IT Skills:
* SAP: Advanced
* Excel: Advanced
* Power Point: Advanced

Language Skills:
* English: Advanced
* Arabic: Advanced
