What you'll do:
Internal Reporting
* Review, analyse and explain cost variances vs. budget and forecast as part of the month-end close working closely with the Outsource provider to resolve errors or to obtain greater understanding of the source data
* Use Aggreko's business intelligence system and month-end analysis to provide insight into the performance of the business to the Finance Business Partners
* Seek an in-depth understanding of the business and help determine any predefined relevant drivers for inclusion in performance analytics
* Assist in the preparation of business presentation materials where required and support the Finance Analysis Manager
* Assist in the development and establishment of standard reporting templates and metrics liaising with Group Finance and the regional Business Partners
* Assist with the standard analysis and reporting, including profitability and unit cost analysis as defined
* Successful transition of current business to new local entity and manage the transition
External Compliance
* Own the accurate and timely completion of the KSA month end and year end financial close process.
* Responsible for ensuring that annual statutory accounts are completed and filed in time for KSA
* Manage VAT, WHT and CIT compliance for KSA
* Manage the weekly cash flow arrangement and balance sheet forecasts.
* Own the local relationship and liaise with internal and external bodies such as auditors, tax authorities and 3rd party advisors.
* Monthly Balance sheet file review for KSA.
* Ensure compliance with all Aggreko accounting and reporting standards.
* Driving remediation of audit issues and proactively reviewing and managing controls to ensure all audits (financial and operational)
* Responsible for timely completion of Group Financial Control Checklist.
* Lead contact for tax and treasury matters
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement in transaction processing activities via monitoring of KPIs
Ad-hoc analysis
* Assist the FP&A Manager with ad-hoc requirements relevant for the Group consolidation and analysis (including results presentation).
* Assist the Finance partners within the business with any ad-hoc analysis required, including gathering of data and validating assumptions to develop models/reports suitable to be provided to key stakeholders in a timely fashion
* Review ongoing ad-hoc requests to determine if any requirements are requested often and work to incorporate into the standard suite of reports/analysis provided to Finance Business Partners.
We're experts, which means you'll have the following skills and experience:
* Bachelor's degree/Qualified chartered accountant from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience
* Minimum of ‎5 years of relevant work experience in KSA compliance as well as analytic responsibilities and engagement with non-finance stakeholders in the business
* Clear communication and interpersonal skills
* Successful experience in assisting the preparation of financial reports, building and utilising financial and operational decision-making models, trend analysis and forecasting
* Ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience
* Experience with Infor ERP environment, EPM tools, other Financial Consolidation systems and BI
* Advanced use of Microsoft office (primarily excel and powerpoint)
