Senior Accountant KSA

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

To ensure financial data is kept up to date by booking, reconciling accounts
and preparing the necessary reports.

Key Responsibilities:
* Capex tracking for all projects and retail stores
* Fixed asset management and physical count overview
* Perform and support in month end closing & smart close management
* Monthly Balance sheet reconciliation
* Maintain insurance contract renewals and submissions to external stakeholders
* Alignment and follow-up with team on aged accounts (all BS accounts)
* Handle ESR reporting and other ad hoc reporting
* Handle inventory and GIT for Morocco, transfer pricing and intercompany markup reconciliations
* Prepare reconciliation of cost of sales
* IFRS ‎16 valuations and reconciliation for leases
* Alignment with Real estate team to ensure accuracy of lease master data
* Overheads tracking
* Manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
* Handle quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
* Prepare, review, and analyze consolidated financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
* Ensure compliance of accounting policies and procedures
* Guidance to direct and indirect team on accounting treatment
* Ad-hoc requests for accounting, analysis and projects as requested

Controlling:
* Measure progress on own & team KPIs.
* Monitor all allocated reports.
* Ensures adherence to group accounting policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

IT skills
* Outlook: intermediate
* Word: intermediate
* Excel: advanced
* PowerPoint: basic
* SAP: intermediate experience is preferred

Language skills
English (written and verbal)
Arabic (written and verbal)

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
* University degree in finance, preferably ACCA or CA
* Ideally with a qualified accounting/audit background
* ‎4+ years of accounting experience
* Experience in team management
