Job Description



  • Combine financial data from several Deprts/LoBs/Subs/MUs within the organization and carry out regular analysis and reporting activities. *

  • Review monthly financial statements, reconciliation of Sub ledgers and Ad hoc management reports. *

  • Ensure that all transactions are done in accordance to SOX & IFRS especially. # ‎9/‎16/‎15*

  • Ensure accuracy of financial statements

  • Maintain day-to-day control of all accounting systems to ensure the complete and accurate processing of financial data in accordance with internal procedures. *

  • Ensure proper posting and recording of daily accounting transactions in accounting books and registers.

  • Ensure monthly closing and financial statement preparation for all Deprts/LoBs/Subs/MUs with varying levels of complexity *

  • Assist in developing the yearly budget with the finance team.

  • Review balance sheet reconciliations. *

  • Handle the finalization of audited financial statements

  • Review the monthly sent company reports to ( HQ / STSC / STC ) and ensure full supporting details and report any comments to the finance controller before communication

  • Handle the external Auditor requirements and ensure with the team its readiness to be presented on time.

  • Review the calculation of company Revenues and CM and ensure its preparation according to the IFRS ‎15 Standards.

  • Ensure the monthly & annual Tax declarations according to the country laws and regulations .

  • Coaches, develops, motivates, monitors, and follows up on team members' performance, quality, and adherence for improving productivity and skills to ensure people development and high performance.

  • Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talents for the GL team.

  • Lead, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures

  • Set performance objectives, provide the necessary support, evaluate/appraise the team and provide regular feedback on performance

  • Updates direct subordinates of all IFRS updates.

Education


Bachelor's degree in Commerce or any equivalent certificate.
