To reach our ambitious goals, we are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer
with DevOps abilities. The right candidate will work directly with prestigious
client in the office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Nortal will sponsor the
relocation for the best fit to the role! The team is multinational and

**Do you have what it takes to join us? Knowledge areas and

responsibilities:**
* Cooperate with a team to design, architecture, and implement infrastructure requirements
* You create virtual machines, networks connections, firewall configurations and Kubernetes clusters
* Participate in installation, upgrading and daily maintenance of software applications
* Have hand on experience in supporting production environment
* Are used to prompt reacting to system notifications and making sure the downtime is minimal
* Participate in or perform regular system monitoring health checks
* You are capable to diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues
* You can perform preventive maintenance, backup, or recovery procedures
* Work on development automation using variety of build tools
* Can advise on testing and deployment of systems
* Prefer to work on agile software development projects with globally distributed teams
* Have good communication skills (spoken and written) with fluent English as essential
* Have more than ‎5 years of relevant experience

**

Technical skills and qualifications:**
* Have hand on experience in developing logical and physical models of the environments
* Happy to work from KSA
* Mange setup/configuration of GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, SonarQube, New Relic or similar
* Experienced in cloud configuration using Terraform, AWS, Azure, or Oracle (OCI)
* Have knowledge of infrastructure monitoring systems (e.g., The Elastic Stack, Zabbix, Nagios)
* Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
* Linux - Advanced Linux user, managing and debugging Linux servers
* Linux Networking (reverse ssh tunnels, proxies, firewalls, VLAN )
* Scripting (any scripting language, Bash, Go, Python, Pearl, Ruby/Rake, etc
* DBs deployment and administration (any DB: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL)
* VM/Infrastructure provisioning
* LB/Proxy/App servers: HA Proxy, Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, etc
