Deadline Date ‎2022-‎06-04Shareteah Humanitarian Organization (SHO) is an Iraqi National NGO promoting
safety & development through mine action and explosive ordnance risk education
(EORE)awareness, and clearance of mines, explosives and remnants of war.to
assistance for people affected by armed conflict. Founded in ‎2016, SHO has
organized & executed programs throughout Iraq. including the provinces of
Nineveh, Duhok, Kirkuk, Tikrit, Anbar, and Baghdad. It currently holds offices
in Duhok and Mosul.

EORE-NTS Team Leader will be responsible for everyday communication between
the CLS and the RE Team and also, facilitate the training and education and
awareness of landmines Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) and Improvised
Explosive Device (IED) resulting in reduced risk behavior within the mine and
ERW affected communitie. NTS-Community Liaison Team Leader will be responsible
on conducting NTS TOs according to SHO SOPs and international procedures.
Undertake necessary preparations for Clearance sessions incl. The Team Leader
is responsible for the following:
• Day-to-day management of the Team.
• Enforcement and adherence to the technical guidelines as laid down in SHO
SOP’s.
• Ensure the necessary tasks of the NTS-RE team are carried out in the field;
• Complete daily and weekly reports and submit them to the CLS as required; •
Liaise with the CLS /SHO NTS-EORE Manager on personnel matters for his/her
team, e.g. sick leave, holiday, etc.;
• Undertake necessary preparations for RE sessions including, liaising with
community leaders, authorities, etc.;
• Ensure that the team has the necessary materials and other equipment to
carry out the designated activities;
• Conduct Risk Education in targeted communities following the operational
plan; • Train key people in the communities to become RE trainers;
• Function as an interviewer during assessments in targeted communities;
• Function as a data collector in targeted communities;
• Function as a community liaison between stakeholders/actors;
• Maintain good communication with partner organizations;
• Maintain good relationships with other mine action actors in the area
including those involved in the survey, marking and clearance to ensure good
coordination and shared knowledge;
• Conduct NTS T.O in the targeted area, and fill the IMSM form reports
• Insure implementing tasks and activity’s, in line with SHO’s strategic plan.
• Any other business as required by SHO.

* A diploma/university degree preferably in sociology/social sciences/teaching
* Minimum ‎2 (Two) year of relevant work experience (Mine Action).
* Basic EORE certificate
* NTS certificate
* An understanding and commitment to SHO’s aims and values.Application process
