Job Description:
A Business Developer, or Business Development Analyst, is
responsible for helping organizations obtain better brand recognition
and financial growth. Their duties include coordinating with company
executives, sales and marketing professionals, reviewing current
market trends and proposing new business ideas to improve revenue.
Responsibilities:
➢ Identify and research potential clients
➢ Develop and maintain client relationships
➢ Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals
➢ Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with
stakeholders
➢ Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed
➢ Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
➢ Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal
executives
➢ Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall
business
➢ Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
➢ Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
➢ Analyze current and past financial data, such as sales reports, and
provide strategies to cut costs and increase revenue
➢ Part of the job will be closing deals outdoor which will require
meetings outside the office location.
➢ Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage
with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new
opportunities
➢ Track and report on the status of proposal components
➢ Conduct ongoing market research
➢ Work with the pricing department to create rate proposals
➢ Drive the end-to-end sales process
➢ Prepare and submit sales contracts
Requirements
➢ Proven experience in Sales or Business development for at least 2
years.
➢ Good communication skills.
➢ Experience in working with excel sheets, numbers and equations.
➢ Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
➢ Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
➢ Excellent interpersonal skills
➢ Highly self-motivated
➢ Strong verbal and written communication skills
➢ Proficient in Microsoft Office
➢ Working knowledge of CRM systems
