What will I be doing?
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve catering and events revenue goals.
* Identify and target potential clients and markets, including corporate clients, event planners, and wedding planners.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing their specific needs.
* Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals for catering and event bookings.
* Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to create customized menus and event packages.
* Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, menu selection, and staffing requirements.
* Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients regarding event details and changes.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
* Prepare sales reports and forecasts, tracking performance against targets.
* Provide guidance and support to the sales team, setting sales targets and motivating team members.
What are we looking for?
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
* Proven experience in catering and events sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
* Knowledge of event planning and catering operations.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
* Leadership skills to guide and motivate a sales team.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
