Job Description



  • Responsible for setting the objectives that the organization needs to focus on, the indicators that it needs to measure performance, the targets to be pursued and the initiatives that will be needed to achieve the desired performance.

  • Ensure that all the set objectives, indicators, and targets are aligned to the corporate strategy. This way it can help identify and consolidate synergies among the distinct departments and business units.

  • Manage the Strategy Development process by ensuring that efficient strategies are in place and translated into effective business plans.



  • Ensure that all business and operation areas are correctly aligned with the corporate strategy to guarantee that they are all working towards a common objective.

  • Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to gather input and buy-in for the strategic planning process.

  • Develop strategic initiatives with relevant departments and collaborate with the Strategy Management office to assess their implementation and analyze the results for future planning.

  • Develop market-based business plans/cases for the strategic initiatives.

  • Develop strategy briefs for the executive team on industry/market trends to update/adjust the strategy as needed.

  • Direct and manage the process of gathering the necessary data and establishing a common data recollection system ensuring that it is always perceived as a reliable updated source of information for the Strategy Office.

  • Oversee the process of collecting and evaluating new ideas and initiatives and discussing their implementation with the executive team.

  • Liaise with the Strategy Implementation team to plan for the execution of new initiatives after assessing feasibility translating them into Strategy Maps, indicators, and targets throughout the organization.

  • perform an annual revision to the strategy, as it is a hypothesis that must be continuously tested to prove its validity.

  • Set the communication plan of all strategies and its progress ensuring that everybody in the organization has full awareness.

  • Collaborate with HR and Marketing to employ means such as corporate releases, messages from the CEO and employee training to ensure strategy's management and progress is included in the employees' continuous development courses.

  • Assist the CSO in the preparation of the annual budget ensuring incorporating all budgetary aspect of own function,

  • Prepare the Strategy Office policies and procedures and submit them to the CSO for approval.

  • Develop the required methodologies for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities as well as mergers and acquisitions.

  • Identify and assess potential opportunities in new markets, solutions or technologies for the entire organization.

  • Conduct visits to clients in potential markets or regions, aligning with the CSO and CCO prior to involving any of the sales teams.

  • Prepare a Strategic Initiatives Assessment Report for business opportunities and shares with CXOs to aid strategic decision making

  • Work with different departments to analyze the business processes and their adaptability to the new markets' demands.

  • Review risks and set plans to market and business entry.

  • Work with HCD and Strategy Implementation team to develop programs aiming towards retaining, motivating and developing the human capital asset.

  • Create a teamwork spirit within the strategy team.

  • Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talents for the Strategy team.

  • Lead, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures.

  • Set performance objectives, provide the necessary support, evaluate/appraise the team, and provide regular feedback on performance.

  • Encourage a learning environment.

  • Work directly with operations management in different companies to encourage transferring tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge.

  • Challenge managers to develop a creative learning environment.

Technical Skills



  • B.Sc. from any discipline, preferred Engineering

  • MBA preferably in strategic management

  • Not less than ‎10 years of experience, with at least ‎3 years in managerial role

  • Different exposure to multiple functions and disciplines; presales, sales and operations.

  • Strategy development proven track.

  • Experiences in a related field.
